Because Netflix and chill is getting old.
Rhythm & Chill is a free livestream concert series featuring all of our favourite artists that have played here at The Rhythm Hut. Tune in every Friday on The Rhythm Hut Facebook page for a livestream straight from the artists to you.
Treat it like a concert! Get dressed up! Regret the number of layers you chose to wear! Get some drinks! Spill them! Flirt with people in the comment section! Chat with the artists in the live comments! Lay awake all night wondering why you were so awkward! Dance like nobody is watching! Because unless your weirdo neighbour has binoculars, they’re not!

Watch on our Facebook @6:30pm Friday

WEEK 4

Chase Makai

His pure passion and soul oozes from his sweaty, energetic performances – with stimulating lyrics, authentic 12-string acoustic sound and a contagious smile, Chase Makai will surely capture your attention.

The sound of his 12-string acoustic guitar is undeniable. While growing up in Australia, Makai began learning how to play the acoustic guitar at age twelve.

After living in the Down Under for twenty solid years, Chase relocated to Hawaii where he met Nahko Bear. The two free-spirits bonded over their mutual love for surfing, skating and music… which facilitated them in forming the band Twisted Trees.

Makai jumped on the Medicine for the People train in 2011 and the rest is history.

His pure passion and soul oozes from his sweaty, energetic performances – with stimulating lyrics, authentic 12-string acoustic sound and a contagious smile, Chase Makai will surely capture your attention.

NATHAN CAVALERI

2019 saw Nathan Cavaleri return to the stage after a 5 year struggle with anxiety/depression. His story telling type show captivated audiences around the country including 1000s at Caloundra Music Fest.

This is the first time I’ve toured an intimate story-telling type show. It’s been both a challenging and cathartic experience that has me re-connecting with music in the same expressive way as I did when I was a kid. The love I’m receiving from the crowd is a reminder of why I perform.”

Pre COVID19, Nathan was scheduled to support The Tea Party’s Jeff Martin on his national tour as well as Byron Bay BluesFest. Now, he is completing the rest of his upcoming album whilst promoting his current single “Castles In The Sky”.

Many will remember Nathan as a child who won his battle with Leukemia and went on to play with artists such as B.B.King, Michael Jackson, Bonnie Raitt, Diesel and Tommy Emmanuel.
