The Hut’s three favourite amigos are set to debut previously unheard material being prepared for their next album!
“Think Heavy Metal with a touch of thrash, then blend it with Mexican mariachi, add a three-piece acoustic line-up and picture the guys on stage all dressed in black with Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) skull make up.
If modern rock ‘n roll can trace its roots to the blues, then why not an acoustic metal band that draws heavily on flamenco and mariachi themes.” Paul Syvret, Courier Mail.
Words on a website or social media post struggle to do these immaculate performers the justice they deserve. Experiencing their extraordinary show is the only way to truly appreciate such a stand-alone performance.
From humble beginnings to a world class headlining act, Kallidad has evolved in the most unlikely form – all instrumental – two Spanish guitars and percussion.
“Flamenco heavy metal with a twist.” – Northern Star.
Combining Spanish guitar styles with Heavy Metal roots to create a once in a lifetime sound, has seen the group visit Europe, Japan, Indonesia and New Zealand. They have also been voted “Most Popular Band” at Italy’s Ferrara Festival- the world’s premier street music competition!
Their incredible live show is a testament to their obsession with the craft of connection and with their trademark “Day of the Dead” facepaint, Kallidad’s visual image is every bit as striking as their one-of-a-kind sound.
Tickets are ready to fly out the door.
