WANTED: Live Music Promotion Hutsters

Requests from artists to perform at The Rhythm Hut are growing faster than one live music manager and one promo queen can handle – a huge compliment to the dedicated Hutsters who make it all happen.

If you haven’t heard about The Rhythm Hut, it can best be described as a friendly, fully licensed, ‘overgrown lounge room’ fuelled by love, volunteers, music & dance loving patrons, and world class Australian and international artists who bring da Hut down every time.

We’ll Get By With A Little Help From Our Friends

While the Hut intends to present more live music events in future, we are unable to do so effectively without a few more happy Hutsters to help us get the word out there.

We currently need help in three key areas:

  1. Online submission of Hut event info to ‘what’s on’ sites as directed. (Written material and pics are provided.)
  2. Posting Hut event info on our social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and various other musically minded cyber-communities as per the Hut’s marketing guidelines.
  3. Occasional delegation of a scheduled event which requires you to liaise with the artist/agent, promote and attend the event to ensure everything runs smoothly and a fine time is had by all.

Training will be provided and Promo Hutsters who proactively complete their given tasks will receive free event tickets to events. Event coordinators will receive free tickets and a ‘gratitude commission’.
