The Vagina Monologues
VDay – Until the Violence Stops
is an international campaign to end violence against women and young girls worldwide. Every February, community organisations and college campus are given free rights to perform theatrical productions written by campaign founder, Eve Ensler…to raise awareness of the movement as well as raise funds for LOCAL women’s shelters and support organisations. 10% of funds raised go to that years ‘Spotlight’ beneficiary.
2017 SPOTLIGHT IS ON WORKPLACE VIOLENCE AND EXPLOITATION
This year, to celebrate TEN YEARS since the first VDay was staged on the Central Coast – at Wyong in 2007…an exciting ALL NEW production of THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES will be staged at The Rhythm Hut in Gosford.
