MINI SUMMER FESTIVAL FEAT. NAHKO & MEDICINE FOR THE PEOPLE Supported by RHYTHM HUNTERS & GAMBIRRA + Selected Open Mic artists
SUN 10TH FEB @ 4PM
This is going to an awesome day that you do NOT want to miss. Due to this being the only date we could get Nahko & Medicine for the people to perform @ the Hut, we have had to cancel Open Mic this month and put on a Summer mini festival instead. YAYA!! But don’t worry, we’re not stomping Open Mic out all together. We will in fact be selecting a couple of our chosen Open Mic Acts to open the performances (These are to be confirmed as this will be decided after the January Open Mic). This will then be followed by the awesome and inspiring Indigenous Gambirra. Anyone who saw Gambirra perform at the Save the Kimberly Fundraiser will know just how well Gambirra will blow the crowd away with her phenomenal rootsy performance.
And last but not least. Headliner for the night “Nahko & Medicine for the People”, Nahko delivers a soulful dose of music and vibration that wil0l make you dance, laugh and cry. In the true spirit of redemption music, his humor will charm you and the stories of his songs open you to receive what he calls ‘real talk music’, revealing an honesty and depth so raw it inspires an internal revival that echoes out into the world. He makes the movement move… one hug at a time.
Cost: $25 presale / $30 on the door.
